FINANCIAL AID INFORMATION FOR OUR CERTIFICATE AND/OR CREDIT PROGRAMS

Pell Grants, Stafford Loans, and Other Federal Financial Aid

If you are currently enrolled in a degree program at Colorado State University at Pueblo or Adams State College and are considering taking the Paralegal Certificate Course© through either of these schools, then you may be eligible for federal financial aid such as Pell Grants or Stafford Loans. Call 1-800-4FEDAID for details.

If, on the other hand, you are not taking any of our certificate courses for credit or are not enrolled in a degree program, then try one of these sources if necessary:

Government Assistance for Employment Training
Tuition support for non-credit students may be available through Government Employment Training Offices. Funding and eligibility requirements vary from county to county, so please call your local County Job Service/Job Council or employment office for information. Check your local government section in your telephone directory white pages for the telephone number of the employment training office in your area.

Continuing Education Loans
Loans may be available for continuing education students who are not enrolled in a full-time course of study. Please make sure when you contact these institutions to mention our certificate course and the school in which you are enrolling.

Easyaid.com is a great resource for locating grants, loans, and other financial aid information that may cover course tuition and book costs.

TERI Continuing Education Loan
TERI, The Education Resources Institute Inc., has recognized the need for a special student loan program to assist continuing education students in achieving their educational goals. The TERI Continuing Education Loan is available to undergraduate, graduate, and certificate program students enrolled less than half time at TERI approved schools nationwide. Their web site is at www.teri.org. Students may obtain TERI applications and information or apply by phone by calling 1-800-255-TERI.

Key Career Loan
Key Bank USA also offers loans for continuing education students taking certificate courses. If you have questions or need further information, or want to apply over the phone, call the Key Education Resource Line at 1-800-KEY-LEND. Sallie Mae Career Training LoanSM
The Career Training LoanSM has been designed specifically to help you finance your education or training and may offer hundreds of dollars in savings over other financing options. It can be used for distance learning or other continuing education programs to cover the total cost of education and related expenses, and loan applications can often be completed within minutes. Bank One Education One® Loan
Bank One, Inc. offers continuing education loans to part-time students regardless of the school type or education program. SunTrust, Inc eMax® Education Loan
SunTrust, Inc. offers private loans to help cover the cost of educational expenses. The loan can be used for tuition and other education- related expenses. JP Morgan Chase, Chase ExtraSM Student Loan
Chase ExtraSM is an assortment of private education loans designed to help students meet their education expenses. Loans are based on good credit to borrowers who meet minimum income requirements.
